1. ABOUT US
P.S Govindasamy Naidu & Sons’ Charities has a seventy year legacy in education and industry in our country. The PSG group of institutions specializes in providing comprehensive teaching - learning facilities in a spectrum of educational fields, starting from kindergarten to centres of higher education and research in Arts, sciences, Engineering, Management, Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiotherapy etc.
PSG College of Pharmacy, established in 2001 is housed in a 90 acre, sprawling Campus at Peelamedu, Coimbatore, along with other medical institutions. Constant interaction with other sister institutions like PSG Hospitals, PSG Institute of Medical Sciences & Research and PSG College of Technology and PSG College of Arts & Sciences have made this college unique to be a blend of technological advancements and health care activities. The Institution is one among very few pharmacy colleges in India to have ISO Certification.

3. Attendance Requiremen
80% of the total classes held separately in theory and practical classes of each subject.

Note: Only those students who meet the above requirement in all the subjects of each year will be eligible to appear for the Annual University Examination. There will not be any condonation in the above said minimum percentage on any account including medical leave.

4. Leave:
Students who wish to avail leave should submit the leave application to respective class coordinator, who will monitor the attendance and punctuality of students. In case of irregular attendance, the parent of the student will be informed. Disciplinary action will be taken if the reasons claimed by the student or his parent are not satisfactory. A student who is abstaining from classes of one or more subjects (theory or practical) continuously for ten classes, without prior sanction of leave by the Principal will be terminated from the college without any notice.

5. Punctuality
Students are requested to be present in the classroom punctually in the scheduled time. A grace period of 5 minutes will be granted to the students and those students coming late by more than 5 minutes will attend the classes only with the written permissions of the principal.

6. Uniform:
Students are expected to wear the uniform while coming to the college. A fine of Rs. 50/- per day will be levied as penalty for not wearing uniform / overcoat.

7. Library:
Students should utilise the library facilities at their utmost use. Books can be lended from the library to a maximum of 2 books for not more than 3 days. Library will be open from 8.00 A.M. to 12.00 Midnight in college working days. In Sundays, third Saturdays and on institutional holidays library will be open from 8.00 A.M to 5.00 P.M.

8. Practical Classes:
A practical handbook will be supplied to each subject which will give details of each practical. It is advised that students should come to the practical classes after reading the books and referring additional books for the theoretical principles. Observation, reading, calculation and result of each practical should be recorded in the observation book and in the next day it should be written in the fair record book and the teacher will value the record. Marks will be given for each exercise which will form the basis of internal assessment mark for record. Costly glass apparatus and equipments are being supplied to the students and the market price of each item will be levied from those who break the glass vessels or instruments. For this a breakage register will be kept. Same type of fine will be levied from those who misuse balances, weight boxes, instruments etc,
